Here you'll find a listing of happenings and press on Owen's work. 7/4/08 - Owen's work receives Merit Award at the Cherry Creek Arts Fest in Denver, CO. By winning this award, Owen's work is exempt from the jury process and will back for 2009! The Cherry Creek Arts Festival is widely considered the best arts festival in the West. 5/01/08 - "Cropped Maples", "Aspen Lifecycle" and "On the 3rd Day" make top ten finals for the "Portfolio" competition at www.artfulhome.com 4/26/08 - Owen attends the Bayou City Arts Fest in Houston, TX. He is mentioned in the Houston Chronicle as part of an article featuring "green" artists. Feb. 2007 - Owen assists Patrick Doughtery, internationally renowned environmental artist, on an installation at the Desert Botanical Gardens in Phoenix, AZ.
