This piece is composed of numerous fall coloured aspen leaves which have been strategically cracked to form the silhouette of a mountain range, and hence the name "Aspen Ridge".

Artist's Note: Cracking the leaves by hand requires patience and attention to detail, but results in a much more organic feel than would be achieved by cutting or slicing the leaves.
